Position Summary:

We are seeking a Head of procurement who is responsible for the coordination of a wide variety of purchasing & procuring activities as well as general supervision of purchasing assistants.

 

Key Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Coordinating assigned activities to ensure cooperation between department employees for optimal efficiency.
  • Procuring various goods and services consistent with established procedures and practices assigned by the purchasing department.
  • Ensuring that procurement documents are maintained in a systematic retrievable manner.
  • Overseeing and supervising general office operations.
  • Preparing confidential information.
  • Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
  • Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals.
  • Regularly looking for new vendors for better quality & price.
  • Assesses total costs of company purchases.
  • Develops and implements straggles for procuring, storing and distributing goods or services and maintain stock levels.
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnership.
  • Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Monthly/Quarterly reports.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
