Position for the post of Assistant Manager Access Network
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following Other duties may be assigned.
- Validate, resolve and follow up for BSS related issues in the network
- Carry out BSS activities at regional level and provide support to subcontractors to ensure network stability
- Analyze issue based KPIs through statistical reports
- Provide on site support to NOC for Lev-2 issues.
- Ensure that committed Grade of Service (GoS) is met by vendors
- Take innovative measures to diagnose and highlight quality issues in the network
- Maintain the GSM network elements BSC BTS
- handle faults in order to ensure a continuous operation of the network
- BSS installation, commissioning and Acceptance Test
- Alarms handling in time allowed
- Responsible for installation, preventive and corrective maintenance
Skills Required:
Sound knowledge of GSM environment with expertise in TXN/BSS
- Proficiency in operating MS Office suite
- Be willing to travel extensively within the region
- Be a self-starter and a strong team player

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in Electrical Engineering; with 5 or more year’s related experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CCNA CCNP or equivalent.
