Job Title: Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities
• Infrastructure Provisioning and Management:
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure components using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure scalability, high availability, and security of AWS resources.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment.
• Integrate source control systems (e.g., Git) with build and deployment tools.
• Automate testing, build, and deployment processes.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement security best practices for AWS services.
• Configure identity and access management (IAM) roles and policies.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents.
• Monitoring and Logging:
• Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems using tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Splunk, etc
• Set up alerts and notifications for system health and performance.
• Automation and Scripting:
• Write scripts (e.g., Cloudshell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to automate routine tasks.
• Create custom tools and utilities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, and management.
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments.
• AWS Certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Ruby).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Containerization: Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Networking: Understanding of VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
• Monitoring and Logging: Understanding of monitoring tools and log analysis.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance.
• Working knowledge of RDS database such as PostgresSQL, Oracle, and MySQL
